The Penn State Board of Trustees successfully voted on May 22 to approve the university’s plans to close seven of its 20 college campuses to cut down on growing financial challenges and declining enrollment. The campuses due to close will affect 3.4% of the system’s faculty and more than 500 of its total staff. Read more
